Cabinets - Frameless - European

European Frameless Design cabinets are different from the usual Framed design Americans are used to. 

A very limited number of cabinets and slab colors are readily available in 2 weeks from order to ready for pick up.  

Frameless take time to produce. Each Slab front door is custom made for each cabinet to fit precisely. This type of cabinet can be customized extensively.   

• Production time varies order by order depending on color, style, size and custom features desired. Expect 2 weeks for standard "in stock" and up to 16 weeks for custom created large kitchen with extensive customizing in exotic finishes. 
• This type of cabinetry is the most exclusive and has the highest cost of any non-custom cabinetry on the market today because of its high-quality finishes and ultra-modern design and high level of ability to be customized.  
• Frameless cabinetry generally is assembled when ready for pick up at our warehouse and the assembly cost has already been factored in. 
• Each Manufacturer creates their frameless cabinets from a different combination of materials.  
• The door hinges are attached to the interior carcass box not an exterior frame attached to the cabinet box.
• Frameless need space above and below the doors / drawers to open and close properly so additional filler is always necessary.
• Frameless leave a very thin space between the doors and the any drawer fronts because there is no frame behind them. Finger pulls can be built into the cabinet Door and Drawer fronts to avoid any hardware leaving a clean ultra-modern European kitchen look.
•  Frameless do not come with integrated color side or end panel s, those have to be added separately during the design phase. As color sides panels are 3 times the cost of standard box panels, only visible sides will have the color side panels designed to be added. This will help to keep the cost down.

Discuss with your designer the materials, colors, sizes, and needs for your space. If you have specific criteria, be sure to let your designer know what your 'must haves' are. Frameless cabinets are the most complex design in cabinetry today. This type of Kitchen cabinetry is an investment financially and in time. Once a design is begun in a frameless style it cannot be converted to a framed style, a new design must be started in a framed style.
