Why is the IXPE PAD BETTER?
- IXPE is waterproof, won't swell, doesn't leach anything out of it and does not disintegrate over time, it remains attached to the flooring planks.
- Cork backing isn't waterproof it swells when wet and will break the click lock from the bottom up when swollen.
- Cork backing can leach out whatever it has absorbed because it is a natural material.
- Cork backing breaks into small pieces overtime.
